We recently hosted our holiday party at True Food Kitchen in Pasadena, and it was an outstanding experience! Laura, the coordinating manager, was exceptional - organized, responsive, and made the entire process smooth from start to finish. On the day of the event, Dean was our server, and his service was impeccable. He was attentive, friendly, and ensured every detail was perfect. The food was fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Highly recommend True Food Kitchen for any event or gathering!
For eating on a cold night (1/5/26) three of us and a dog, enjoyed the outdoor patio meal with two heater lamps on each side. The food was healthy and with flavor. I enjoyed the salmon blackened salad, and a cup of coffee. My friends enjoyed an equally enjoyable meal. The service was great with frequent checks and drink refills.
We came here with a party of 15 for my mom's 87th birthday. The food was AMAZING. The service was first class. And the atmosphere was very warm and inviting. My mom was beyond pleased and so were all her guests.
Love the atmosphere of this True Food Kitchen Location. The patio is really great for eating al fresco, but the dining room is also bright and airy. Located at the far end of Old Town Pasadena, this place has great seasonal selections. I usually go here for lunch, but decided to try the weekend brunch. The portions were small for brunch, but the food is fresh and tasty. I got their avocado toast which was served with a spicy chili on top.
It's nice to eat a burger and feel great afterward. The menu has lots of options, and everything tastes fresh. The veggies and salads are crisp, and the lasagna is pretty good too. There was only a short wait on a Saturday afternoon, which was a nice surprise. It can get a little loud inside, but the place is big, so they might accommodate you. Solid place for a tasty and healthy meal!
We had the most wonderful birthday lunch at True Food Kitchen celebrating my partner and me, and it was truly such a special experience. Our waiter, Kristoffer, took amazing care of our party of five and went above and beyond to make our birthdays feel celebrated. He was attentive, kind, and made everything feel effortless and joyful. Kristoffer is absolutely incredible, and because of him, we’ll definitely be back. Thank you for making our day so memorable!

This place hits all the marks if you're looking for something that tastes great, doesn't have crazy prices, and still has a unique and fun menu with healthy options. Service was excellent and there's a huge amount of seating. No wait ever when I go for lunch. Highly recommended spot!
We had such a great night! The food was fresh, flavorful, and just really satisfying, but shout out to our incredible server Alisa for making the whole experience unforgettable. She’s hilarious, quick, and just has the best energy. It felt like being taken care of by someone who genuinely loves what she does. She told us to try the OG refresher with ginger, honey, and lime, and she nailed it. It was bright, refreshing, and the perfect way to start the meal. Every recommendation she gave us after that was completely on point. You can tell she actually knows the menu and wants you to have a good time.
Staff is very friendly! The patio is beautiful come sunset… Plenty of variety on the menu so it’s nice to come back and try something new. My current favorites are the seasonal carrot cake and the roasted brussels sprouts starter
The food was very tasty. I really liked the chicken parm and the pizza were very good. Oh! and I reaaaallllyyyy liked the guacamole! The server was patient and very attentive. It was too loud indoors; it was not easy for me to have a conversation.
